HUMAN DESIGN

A practical way to explore how you operate — without turning a chart into a verdict

`You may be curious about Human Design because something in the system has caught your attention.

Perhaps you have seen your chart but are not quite sure what to do with it.

Perhaps you have come across descriptions that seem surprisingly familiar, but you want more than a collection of generic explanations.

Or perhaps you are interested in whether Human Design could offer another useful perspective on the way you make decisions, use your energy, respond to pressure, work with other people or approach your work and business.

A chart can give you information.

The more useful question is often:

What, if anything, does that information help you notice about your actual life?

That is where I believe a personalised conversation becomes much more valuable.

Human Design is a lens, not a verdict.

THE CHART IS ONLY THE STARTING POINT

The value is in interpretation, context and practical application

Human Design charts and general information about them are widely available.

You do not need to pay somebody simply to tell you which words appear on your chart.

A personalised session gives us the opportunity to look at the themes that seem most relevant to you and explore how they might connect with your own experience.

That might include questions such as:

- How do I tend to make decisions when I am under pressure?

- Where do I recognise myself in this chart — and where do I not?

- Are there patterns around work, energy or expectations that are worth noticing?

- Why do certain ways of working seem to suit me better than others?

- How might this perspective help me understand something I have already been experiencing?

- Is there anything here that would be useful to experiment with rather than simply believe?

The aim is not to make your life fit your chart.

It is to see whether the chart gives us another useful way of understanding what you already know, notice and experience.

HUMAN DESIGN INSIGHT SESSION

A personalised 90-minute exploration of the themes that matter most to you

A Human Design Insight Session is a 90-minute one-to-one Zoom session built around your individual chart and the questions you are bringing to it.

I prepare your chart in advance so that our time together can focus on interpretation rather than simply reading information from a screen.

During the session, I will explain the themes that seem most relevant and help you relate them to your own experience.

We can explore areas such as:

- decision-making;

- energy and pacing;

- recurring patterns;

- how you respond to expectations or pressure;

- ways of working;

- communication and interaction;

- work or business questions where Human Design provides a useful lens.

You do not need any previous knowledge of Human Design.

I will explain what you need as we go, without trying to teach you the entire system in one sitting.

Your session includes

- preparation of your Human Design chart beforehand;

- a personalised 90-minute Zoom session;

- interpretation of the chart themes most relevant to you;

- discussion of how those themes may relate to your actual experience;

- practical observations or experiments you may choose to notice or test;

- a copy of your Human Design chart;

- a concise personalised Human Design Insight Summary afterwards.

FROM INFORMATION TO SOMETHING YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE

Less “this is who you are”; more “does this help you understand how you operate?”

I am much more interested in useful exploration than fixed labels.

If something in your chart seems relevant, we can look at how it shows up in practice.

If something does not seem to fit, you do not need to force it.

And if a particular idea gives you a useful hypothesis to test, you can experiment with it and see what you notice.

You might leave a session with things to pay attention to such as:

- what happens when you give yourself more time before making a particular kind of decision;

- where you are habitually overriding your own signals;

- situations in which you feel more or less energised;

- patterns that become clearer once you have another way of describing them;

- ways of approaching work or business that may be worth testing rather than assuming.

Human Design does not need to provide the final answer in order to be useful.

Sometimes its value is simply in helping you ask a better question.

HOW THE SESSION WORKS

Enough preparation to make the conversation personal from the beginning

Before the session, I will need enough information to prepare your chart.

That includes:

- your birth date;

- your birth place;

- as accurate a birth time as you can provide;

- one or two areas you are particularly curious about.

You do not need to write a life history or arrive with a perfectly formed question.

A little context is enough to help me understand what would make the session most useful to you.

Before we meet

I prepare your Human Design chart and review it in the context of the areas you have told me you would particularly like to explore.

During the session

We meet on Zoom for 90 minutes.

I will take you through the relevant themes in a way that makes sense even if Human Design is completely new to you.

There is room to ask questions, bring in real examples and explore where the chart appears to resonate with your experience — and where it may not.

Afterwards

You receive:

- a copy of your Human Design chart; and

- a concise personalised Human Design Insight Summary reflecting the most useful themes from our conversation.

The summary is intended to give you something practical to return to afterwards.

It may capture key themes we explored, how they related to your own experience, useful reminders and a small number of things you may want to notice or experiment with.

It is deliberately not a large generic Human Design report or an exhaustive explanation of every element in your chart.

A BRIEF WORD ABOUT HUMAN DESIGN

You do not need to learn the whole system for the session to be useful

Human Design uses birth information to generate an individual chart and provides a framework for exploring patterns in areas such as decision-making, energy and interaction.

You may encounter terms such as Type, Strategy, Authority, Profile or Centres.

We may use some of those concepts during your session where they are relevant, but the purpose is not to work systematically through every component of the chart.

The purpose is to identify the parts that seem most useful for the questions you are actually bringing.

I use Human Design as an interpretive and reflective framework, not as an objective psychological assessment or scientifically established description of who you are.

You remain free to question it, test it, find parts useful and leave other parts aside.

A GROUNDED INTERPRETATION

Context matters as much as the chart

A Human Design chart does not know the circumstances of your life.

It does not know what you have learned, the choices you have made, the environment you work in or what a particular situation means to you.

That is why I do not believe the most useful approach is simply to recite chart descriptions.

My wider experience in change work, business, marketing and self-employment helps me understand the context behind the questions somebody may bring.

If we are talking about your work or business, for example, I can understand the practical realities involved rather than treating them as abstract chart concepts.

But the session is still a Human Design Insight Session.

It is not conventional business consultancy, a marketing strategy session or an open-ended coaching engagement.

My wider experience helps me interpret the lens more intelligently. It does not turn the session into something it is not.

HUMAN DESIGN IS A LENS, NOT A VERDICT

Your chart does not get the final say about your life

I will not use Human Design to tell you:

- what your destiny is;

- what career you must choose;

- what your business should become;

- what decision you have to make;

- what your future will look like;

- who you are allowed to be.

Nor do I treat Human Design as a substitute for your own judgement.

The session is an opportunity to explore another perspective.

You can consider what resonates.

You can notice what does not.

You can experiment with an idea and see what happens.

And you remain responsible for the choices you make afterwards.

That, for me, is a much more useful way to work with any reflective framework.

A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

You may be wondering…

I’m completely new to Human Design — is that okay?

`Yes.

You do not need to understand your chart, know your Type or be familiar with Human Design terminology before the session.

I will explain the relevant concepts as we go.

In many ways it is helpful to arrive curious rather than feeling that you need to learn the system first.`

How accurate does my birth time need to be?

`Use the most accurate birth time you can reasonably provide.

Birth time can affect aspects of a Human Design chart, so greater accuracy is useful.

You do not, however, need to create certainty where you do not have it.

If your birth time is approximate or significantly uncertain, simply let me know when you provide your pre-session information so that I can take that into account.

If your birth time is completely unknown, please contact me before booking.`

Will you tell me what I should do?

`No.

I may highlight patterns, offer interpretations, ask questions or suggest something you could experiment with.

But I will not use your Human Design chart to make your decisions for you.

The purpose is to increase your understanding and give you another perspective from which to make your own choices.`

Can we talk about my work or business?

`Yes.

Work and business can be very useful areas to explore through a Human Design lens.

We might discuss how particular themes appear in the way you work, make decisions, manage your energy or respond to expectations.

My own business and marketing background also means I understand the practical context of self-employment and business ownership.

The session is not, however, a business strategy or marketing consultancy session.

Human Design remains the lens we are using.`

What do I receive after the session?

`You receive a copy of your Human Design chart and a concise personalised Human Design Insight Summary.

The summary is based on the themes that were most relevant in our actual conversation rather than being a generic report automatically generated from your chart.

It is intended to give you useful points to return to afterwards.`

Is the Insight Summary a full Human Design report?

`No.

It is not intended to explain every element of your chart or act as an encyclopaedic guide to Human Design.

It is a concise personalised summary of the themes we actually explored together, how they related to your experience and any particularly useful observations or experiments you may want to remember.`

How should I think about Human Design as a framework?

`I find it most useful as a lens for reflection and experimentation.

You do not need to accept every part of it as fact.

You can notice where something seems to describe your experience well, question what does not, and test ideas in your own life.

The useful question is not necessarily:

“Is this chart telling me who I am?”

It may be:

“Does this perspective help me understand something more clearly or make a more conscious choice?”`

What if I want further support afterwards?

`The Human Design Insight Session is designed to stand on its own.

There is no expectation that you continue into another service.

If you later decide that you would like support with something that has emerged, you are welcome to contact me and we can consider what — if anything — would be appropriate.

Where I happen to use Human Design as one lens within an existing piece of work such as Catalyse, you would not need to purchase a separate Human Design session simply because I choose to bring that perspective into our work.`

READY TO EXPLORE YOUR CHART?

See what Human Design adds when it is interpreted in the context of your actual life

You do not need to become a Human Design expert.

You do not need to decide in advance whether every part of the system is true.

You only need enough curiosity to explore what your chart might help you notice.

If you would like a personalised interpretation grounded in your own questions, experience and choices, you can book your session directly.
